Africa Evangelical Fellowship/SIM International
Fort Mill, South Carolina
HIM designed and built this 7,000 s.f. office building originally for Africa Evangelical Fellowship, as their US headquarters. The building has most recently been used as the international headquarters for SIM International.
America's Keswick
Whiting, New Jersey
In the mid 1980s, HIM designed and constructed a multi-million dollar activity center for America's Keswick, a bible conference and substance-abuse rehabilitation center. This large building houses a multi-purpose gym and auditorium, locker rooms, meeting rooms, indoor swimming pool, spa, and indoor racquetball courts.
Anse Rouge Church
Anse Rouge, Haiti
HIM designed and provided construction management for this two-story church, school and orphanage located in a poor coastal village in Haiti.
Ashburnham Place
Ashburnham Christian Trust, Battle, East Sussex, UK
Ashburnham Place has served as a conference and prayer center for over 40 years. HIM designed and assisted in the construction of a new Reception Hall. HIM also provided design and construction assistance on the rehabilitation of their eighteenth-century two-story carriage house into a prayer center.
Caribbean Christian Center for the Deaf
Montego Bay, Kingston, Knockpatrick, Jamaica
Caribbean Christian Center for the Deaf ministers to hearing-impaired children and adults in Jamaica. CCCD has three children's home/schools as well as a Deaf Village, where socially-outcast hearing-impaired adults can live, work, and worship. HIM has designed numerous buildings on their campuses.
Cono Christian School
Walker, Iowa
Cono is a unique Christian School with a large number of boarding international students. HIM designed and constructed a multipurpose dining hall/student center for this Christian school. Also, HIM designed a new Gymnasium/Classroom building.
Emmanuel Gospel Center
Boston, Massachusetts
Emmanuel Gospel Center, founded in the 1920s as an inter-city mission to the poor. Thirty years ago, EGC became aware of the number of developing, vibrant churches all over Boston. As a result of this realization, EGC changed its strategy from primarily direct, one-on-one ministry to strengthening and supporting the work of urban churches. EGC now provides ministry and resources in a broad range of urban-oriented services such as: programs in youth ministry, urban education, urban ministry research, urban evangelism, Christian economic development, homeless ministry, Haitian church ministries, international miisions networking, job training, and consulting on urban church planting and urban ministry development. HIM provided design assistance on the renovation of one of their three-story buildings.
Equip International
Marion, North Carolina
Equip International seeks to equip missionaries, from many missions, with training in appropriate technology, community health evangelism, and medical missions. HIM designed a new two-story office building for their US headquarters.
FOCUS - Fellowship of Christians in Universities and Schools
West Tisbury, Martha's Vineyard, Massachusetts
HIM provided design and construction assistance to FOCUS at their Study Center on Martha's Vineyard. FOCUS, the Fellowship of Christians in Universities and Schools, is a diverse community of students, parents, faculty, clergy, professionals, and business people from a variety of Christian denominations drawn together by a common faith and purpose. Their purpose is to share with independent school students a life rooted in God that is real, adventurous, intellectually sound, and eminently practical.

H.O.L.D. The Children Orphanage
La Vaude, Port De Paix, Haiti
HIM designed a dorm/dining hall for HOLD the Children Orphanage, a ministry of Mission Discovery in La Vaude, Port De Paix, Haiti. The HTC Children’s Home is now completed as well, and anticipates being operational by the end of the 2009. The two-story building will house 62 orphans, with separate dorms for boys and girls. The facility also has an office, staff quarters and covered play areas. The students will attend the HTC school and church which are already on-site.
Isaiah House - Circle Urban Ministries
Chicago, Illinois
Isaiah House gets its name from Isaiah 58, a chapter in the Bible that calls true religion the practice of justice and mercy. Isaiah House is the home of Circle Family Care Medical, community care offices, and thirteen apartment units for homeless families. This building, originally a 1920s luxury apartment house, became a notorious drug house. Circle bought it from the city, cleaned it up and, with the assistance of HIM, restored the facility.
Kids Alive International - US Headquarters

HIM provided design and construction services to Kids Alive on the renovation and enlargement of their US headquarters.
Mama Tara Miskitos Orphanage
Puerta Lempira, Miskitos Coast, Honduras
Mama Tara Miskitos Orphanage provides for the physical and spiritual needs of Miskito Indian children of the Mosquito Coast of Honduras, by building and opening a new campus. In the future, Mama Tara hopes to have a school, chapel, clinic, working farm, and vocational education programs for the chilren. HIM has developed the master plan for their new campus, and designed and assisted in the construction of their Phase 1 building.
New York Mission to the Jews
149 Avenue B, Manhattan, New York
In the mid 1980s, HIM designed a complete renovation of this five-story building in the heart of New York City. The entire building was gutted with the removal of all floors and interior. New steel joist floors and walls were installed. The building includes a large meeting room, dining facilities, apartments and volunteering housing accommodations.
Scott Theological College
Machakos, Nairobi, Kenya, East Africa
HIM designed and helped construct many of the buildings on the campus of Scott Theological College. The campus was founded by AIM (Africa Inland Mission), and trains future church leaders and pastors. Buildings designed by HIM include: dining hall, classroom building, library, staff housing and dormitories.
Torchbearers Yamanakako Retreat Center
Lake Yamanakako, Japan
Torchbearers Yamanakako was established in May 1987 as a Christian Conference and Holiday Centre. It is located at the foot of Mount Fuji, the highest mountain in Japan. It also houses the Torchbearers Bible School, which utilizes qualified lecturers from Torchbearer Staff in Japan and overseas, as well as from major mission organizations such as OMF and SEND International, operating in Japan. HIM provided a master plan and design assistance on several buildings.
Whispering Cove
Sylva, North Carolina
Whispering Cove, nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Western North Carolina, provides rest and restoration for pastors and missionaries. HIM designed their main 9,000 s.f. lodge, which is constructed of large hewn logs. HIM also designed their Caretaker's lodge and maintenance/volunteer housing facility.
Young Life Windy Gap
Weaverville, North Carolina
Windy Gap, located in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Western North Carolina, is one of 25 camps operated by Young Life, a youth ministry based in Colorado Springs, Colorado. HIM provided design assistance on a number of their buildings.
